Hello to all the Umass Boston students and staff along with our neighbors in the Dorchester community. We hope this post finds everyone feeling happy and healthy among this crazy, chaotic time. Obviously we all would rather be on the Umass campus learning from our instructors and seeing our friends at the moment but aren't able to be there out of concern for everyone's safety with this ongoing pandemic. We hope everyone continues to practice social distancing and continues to listen to the advice of medical experts that know what they are talking about and hopefully we can flatten the curve as soon as possible and have our campus back open by the summer. In the meantime we at the Umass Boston Boating Club hope everybody stays safe!

Ahoy! Welcome to the Umass Boston boating club's official Blogger page. Here you will find weather reports, tide charts, knot tying tutorials, some background on some of our members along with some pictures and videos of our members out on the water enjoying the area around Umass Boston. The UMB campus may be closed for the spring 2020 semester but we are still hoping to drum up some interest in the boating club and hopefully gain some new members and be back out on the water by the summer!
